Description Levofem is an effective, safe, low-dose oral contraceptive pill that is taken daily to prevent pregnancy. Levofem contains two hormones, Levonorgestrel and Ethinyleestradiol and also contains Ferrous Fumarate. There are 28 easy-to- swallow tablets in Levofem, 21 of those tablets contain hormones and are called the ‘active’ pills while the remaining 7 tablets contain Iron for blood building. Ingredient: Levonorgestrel, Ethinylestradiol, Ferrous Fumarate Side Effects: Headaches, Gastric upsets, nausea, vomiting, Breast Tenderness, Spotting between periods,Slight changes in body weight or libido. How to Use Start on the first day of your menstrual period; Take 1 tablet starting from the lower righthand corner of the pack i.e the first yellow tablet. When you finish the yellow tab;es, start the white tablet. You should take 1 tablet daily at about the same time for 28 consecutive days. Pharmacist’s Advice if there’s a delay by longer than 24 hours, contraceptive proection may be lost. Withdrawal bleeding occurs while the white tablet are being taken. Whether your bleeding has stopped or not, begin a new pack of levofem the day after taking the last white tablet. Be sure to take all the white tablet from one pack before starting a new pack and follow theses instructions again
