One of the masterpieces of Hokusai’s oeuvre. It is also called the red Fuji. Hokusai captured the moment in early autumn when the morning sun covers Mt. Fuji in red creating an imposing atmosphere. Ukiyo-e Furoshiki Ukiyoe is one of the traditional arts of Japan, having a great influence overseas in the late 1900s. This series of 50cm square patterns is taken from the world of Ukiyoe.
