I got this to use as a jewelry box on my dresser top because I already have an entire kitchen drawer dedicated to my numerous types of tea bags and loose tea and I have a beautiful bamboo tea case with a clear lid that fits right inside my drawer where I can clearly see all the tea bags from above when I open the door. This beautiful wooden case is designed to sit on your kitchen countertop with easy access to your tea bags if you decide to use it for that purpose but I already have more than enough things on my kitchen countertops as it is. And my dedicated tea drawer is already optimally organized.As a jewelry box, however, this works great! The wood is gorgeous, beautiful grain, very well constructed, smooth seams, perfectly glued with no gaps or sloppy excess glue.It holds a lot of jewelry and gives you very easy visibility when you open up the drawer, with lots of space in each of the cubby holes for different types of jewelry. If you wanted to, you could even put a little piece of felt or velvet on the bottom of each drawer but I don’t find it necessary. I like to see the grain of the wood.I like having the top platform shelf space for holding my “hand” ring holder and it gives a good easy visibility appt for my thermostat indicator so I can tell what temperature it is outdoors at a glance.The accompanying side piece can also hold different things like a remote for one of my corner light fans, energency flashlight etc.Overall, highly recommended and I’m sure there are lots of other uses for it besides just holding tea bags or holding jewelry.It would also work well in an office or home office setting for holding any number of things charging power cords or paper clips EtcThe beauty of the wood makes it very adaptable for many different applications. Overall, highly recommended if you love well constructed, unique pieces made of genuine wood!
