We love that this clock has lighted numerals, so it can be seen across the room, and it’s bigger than a lot of the tiny “retirement” clocks (full-size scissors as comparison). We use it for multi-department implementations of software so everyone can easily see how time is flying toward our target launch. We added a sign to show what the clock is counting by merely printing out a page with the project name on it and taping it to the back (lo-tech, but it works!) The remote is easy to use, but not necessarily intuitive, so keep the instructions. It came with hardware to mount on a wall, but we’re using it on a desktop because we intend to move it around to different departments.I don’t know what the alarm sounds like. We didn’t get this for the alarm feature, and I’d just as soon have it not ring. I guess we’ll find out what it sounds like in about 47 days.
