Description Indication: Betamethasone Sodium Phosphate is used in the topical treatment of allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eyes. Neomycin sulphate is used in the management of infections of the eye. Beroptic-N Eye/Ear Drops is used for short time treatment of inflammatory conditions of the eye and ear. In allergic conjunctivitis and in bacterial infections of the external ear. Side Effects: Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Dosage: For the eye, one to two drops should be placed in each affected eye up to six times daily. For the ear, two to three drops into the affected ear every two or three hours. Precautions: Beoptic-N should not be used in cases of viral, fungal, tuberculous, or purulent conditions of the eye. It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any of its components, glaucoma, or herpetic keratitis (e.g., dendritic ulcer). Prolonged use may lead to skin sensitization and emergence of resistant organisms.
